CRM: leads

A lead is someone who may buy: they called, walked in, wrote on Instagram, or were sent by someone. Zanix keeps them in a pipeline until they buy (or don't), reminds you to follow them up, and turns them into a customer.

Add a lead

CRM → Lead → New: the person's name, their organisation (if any), a phone number or email, where they came from (Source), and roughly what a sale could bring (Expected Value). You become the lead's owner; Assign gives it to someone else. A phone number already on an open lead is refused, so the same person isn't followed up twice.

The pipeline

CRM → Pipeline shows a column per stage: New, Contacted, Interested, Quotation Sent, Won, Lost (won and lost leads of the last 30 days). Drag a card to move the lead on; moving it to Lost asks why. Each column shows how many leads and their value. Tick Only my leads to see yours. A follow-up date in red is late; amber is today.

Follow-ups

After each call or visit, open the lead and click Log follow-up: what happened, the stage now, and when to follow up next. The lead keeps the history under Follow-ups. On the follow-up day (and every day after, until it's done), the owner gets a reminder in Zanix and on Telegram with the lead's name, phone and what to do. Losing a lead needs a reason; a won or lost lead isn't followed up any more.

When they buy

Click Make customer: a customer is made with the lead's name (or organisation), phone and email, and the lead becomes Won. Then Make quotation opens a new quotation for that customer.

Reports

Reports → Leads counts the leads of a period by source, stage, owner or lost reason: how many are open, won and lost, the share won of those closed, and their expected value. It shows which sources bring buyers and why sales are lost.
